The high tide lines are interesting. I was on them initially when I started brewing this deck but found in testing I could never pull them off, so I slotted in [[Panharmonicon]] to make Dockside more consistent and went in on wheels + Breach combos instead. I am quite interested in [[Vadrok, Apex of Thunder]] and his ability to freecast spells from the graveyard without exiling them. I also have wanted to put together a [[Smothering Tithe]] + [[Underworld Breach]] wheel/storm deck for a bit, and this seemed like the perfect commander to lead the deck since he can recover Underworld Breach and wheels from the graveyard. I lost four EDH decks of varying quality from a foiled out Edgar Markov vampires to a pretty janky tribal merfolk.

All of that sucks, and is certainly painful, but here is what really makes me regret making the mistake.

In EDH, you have three opponents, which potentially triples the number of attacking creatures. This means your Palliation Accord will charge up counters regardless of who's being attacked. If you simply take your fair share of attackers, you're getting 3x the counters and 3x the protection.

I also have wanted to put together a [[Smothering Tithe]] + [[Underworld Breach]] wheel/storm deck for a bit, and this seemed like the perfect commander to lead the deck since he can recover Underworld Breach and wheels from the graveyard. Out of all the "Apex" creatures, Vadrok by far looked the coolest to me. With the new mutate ability, I can get back spells from my graveyard upon mutation so I can cast multiple cheap spells to pump up my commander. My creatures are broken up into 3 main categories: 1) token generation 2) spell recursion 3) damage.
